Pamela Gwaltney is an artist whose work combines aesthetic elements from minimalism, geometric abstraction, 3D shapes and LED lighting. Her unique interpretation of these elements provides an immersive and sculptural experience, where the viewer is invited to explore light, space, movement and meaning. Her 'Portals' and similar works create an air of mystery and contemplation. Ms. Gwaltney has studios in Potomac, MD and Calistoga, CA where she creates her commissioned artwork.

The historic Yountville Community Church dates to the 1870s and has served people in California’s Napa Valley ever since.

The church building underwent a major top to bottom renovation, which took over two years.

San Francisco-based designer Eugene Anthony commissioned the cross, and we worked together on the design for a newly reimagined space. The white cross with white lighting against a gray-blue wall adds to the serenity of the experience, with its elegant, spare design. It has helped to create a space of tranquility and contemplation.
